About the volunteering opportunity
We are starting a new meeting place, the "Sprachcafé Eimsbüttel", where refugees and volunteers can practice German in a nice atmosphere, meet people and get advice. You live in Eimsbüttel or the surrounding area and want to get socially involved? The Sprachcafé is looking forward to your support.
Your Tasks
Volunteers will act as language guides (language teachers) on site to help participants speak and practice German in a casual exchange.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
No special previous knowledge is necessary. You should enjoy interacting with people and helping them to learn German.
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 3 hours per week.
On weekdays, during the day
The language café takes place once a week on Thursday afternoons from 16:00 to 19:30
