About the volunteering opportunity
The children and young people need above all help and support in learning the German language, so that they can follow the lessons at school well. Individual support with homework or school projects are also an important component, as often the parents are also affected by the language barrier and can thus only help to a limited extent.
Your Tasks
We would like to have committed volunteers to help children and young people learn German after school. We also need people who would enjoy tutoring in math and English or helping kids with individual projects or lectures.
What's needed
You should have a good command of the German language and preferably a good knowledge of grammar and enjoy teaching it to children and young people. But also in mathematics or English help is often needed. If you feel addressed and would have fun to give tutoring in German, math and / or English - then contact us.
Time required
The support of the refugee children takes place mainly in the afternoon from Monday to Friday. Not all days need to be covered. Individual arrangements are possible.
