Learn and live tolerance: With Colored Glasses, YFU offers workshops against discrimination and for a diversity-conscious and open society throughout Germany in all types of schools from 5th grade. The workshops are conducted in teams of 2-3 volunteers aged 16 and older. For this we are looking for enthusiastic young people with a desire for commitment - also for the regional and national organization & coordination!
Topics are sensitization to cultural differences and dealing with identity, prejudice, stereotyping and discrimination. Human rights, flight and the like can also be addressed.
The CG Board is responsible for overarching tasks. In a monthly video call, project proposals, finances, marketing, events and content strategies are discussed in order to continue the sustainable presence and activity of Colored Glasses. The board is supported by a full-time staff member. Become part of the board - even without prior workshop experience.
As part of the board team, you will work on higher-level tasks and take over long-term planning
The network is supported by a full-time contact person at the sponsor YFU. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions!

Together with YFU organizations in our approximately 50 partner countries, our association is committed to intercultural education, democracy education and the assumption of social responsibility by offering young people the opportunity to experience another culture as a member of a host family or as an exchange student* and to gain new perspectives. Every year, YFU sends up to 1,000 German students abroad and hosts around 500 young people from other countries in Germany.
