About the volunteering opportunity
You have fun cooking or like to help in the kitchen?
Then sign up to work together in a team with our cooks or in individual direction for about 10-20 Seniors at the lunch table and swing the wooden spoon. You would like to contribute your own recipe or actively support our kitchen staff in preparing the meals? - both is possible.

You will be accompanied by full-time staff and we look forward to good humor and fun in the kitchen. Shared meals with the seniors is possible on request.
Your Tasks
- Support our cooks in the preparation of the lunch (usually 3 courses for about 15 - 20 seniors)
- Own recipes can be brought with pleasure after consultation
- Common clean up of the kitchen after the lunch
- Common meal with the seniors (if desired)
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
- Fun while cooking
- Willingness to carry out infection control instruction 1x per year
- Hygienic food handling
- Fun and patience in dealing with seniors
- Free continuing education

The time frame is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Monday to Friday. You can let us know which day suits you best.

In the Senior Citizens and Service Center (ASZ) Harlaching, senior citizens and their relatives in the district receive information, advice and assistance on all issues relating to old age. In addition, we offer a lunch table for seniors as well as a varied, changing program of courses and events. We are committed to the interests of older people in the district and offer opportunities for volunteer work.
