About the volunteering opportunity
The DRK-Kreisverband Hamburg-Nordost e.V. has been running "LüttePlünn" the second-hand store for children in Marienthal since the beginning of September 2022. In our store, all interested parties can purchase worn, well-preserved baby and children's clothing at reasonable prices.
Giving worn children's clothing a new life and supporting social projects in the neighborhood with the sale - we realize these goals with our secondhand store.
For your assistance, no previous knowledge is necessary.
We are looking forward to people with sales talent, fashion awareness or just fun in contact with people.
Since we rely on donations to run the children second hand store, we regularly accept clothes and check them afterwards.
They are sorted, put away, labeled and then come into the store for sale.
We are looking for support in both areas: Both in the sorting as well as in the sale in the children second hand store.

You can support us and become part of the project:
We are looking for during the week from 11 am - 6 pm and on Saturday from 11 am - 3 pm support for the sale.

The times can be flexibly divided and are assigned by arrangement.
A shift usually lasts two to four hours. If you can imagine to take over an assignment and get to know the project better, please feel free to contact us!
We also need diligent hands for sorting the incoming goods. Here, the times of your assignment are even more flexible and you can come when it suits you well.

By the union of the two neighboring circle federations Hamburg north registered association and Hamburg Wandsbek registered association to our circle federation Hamburg north-east registered association one of the largest circle federations of Hamburg developed. Voluntary help and activities take place regionally in the neighborhood . We complement the voluntary work with varied offers such as first aid courses, local meeting places, our home emergency call and the newly founded second hand store. Our goal is to reach all people, to help people in need in an uncomplicated way and to create interesting offers for all generations. Maybe there is also something for you.
