About the volunteering opportunity

Our project "#KidsforKiez - your district with a future" is aimed at young people between the ages of 12 and 14 who want to discover their own district, engage with it and bring it to life with their own concept ideas. Together we want to strengthen social coexistence - and who better to have their say and develop their own ideas than the young people who live in this part of town? We give them the basics in thematic input workshops and then open up the space. Together with other young people, they then have the opportunity as a group to develop ideas for the design and further development of their district.

Your Tasks

As a youth mentor, you will support our participants, especially in planning and designing their concepts for the projects in their district. You answer questions, get involved and give impulses - because together you can move great things!

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.

You are at least 18 years old and want to accompany and support young people in the development and design of project ideas? Then the project "#KidsforKiez - your neighborhood with a future" is the right place for you. We meet every two weeks for about two hours and work together on the ideas and the design of these.

Time required

Regularly
Approx. 2 hours per week.
On weekdays, during the day

Our project #KidsforKiez takes place weekly on Wednesdays from 2-4 pm at a school in Bad Cannstatt. It is also possible to participate only every 2 weeks.
