About the volunteering opportunity
Animal Welfare Society in the heart of Gifhorn - As a small animal welfare organisation, we work to bring people of all ages and backgrounds together. United in the belief in a world where animals can live out their lives free from cruel and inhumane treatment.
Our little animal paradise is tucked away in the middle of farmland. Here we give our animals (we specialise in farm animals) a place for a happy life.
During our work as an animal welfare association, be it through anonymous tips or surrenders, we receive animals again and again that have been injured, sick or mistreated. We help these animals. These are animals that otherwise have no chance of a species-appropriate and loving life. Many of our charges need veterinary care, intensive care and affection, all of which we do with a lot of heart and soul, because every living creature has a right to life! Our motto is: "We give them their life back". Most of the animals we rescue are rehomed and given a place on our farm. Our Felli's are animals that unfortunately cannot be placed because they are chronically ill or require very intensive care.
