Create TikTok and Instagram reels on the topics of mental health and personality development

Dare2Care is a non-profit organization with the goal of bringing mental health and personal development into the school system. Therefore, we give school workshops in currently 6 cities and also use social media channels to educate about topics around Mental Health and Psychology. For this we are looking for support in the area of TikTok and video creation.

Your Tasks

• TikTok & Reels: Together with our social media team, you are responsible for the conception and implementation of TikTok content as well as Instagram reels.

• Idea generation & Brainstorming: You research current trends on social media on your own initiative, think about implementation ideas and discuss them with the Head of Public Relations.

• Video creation: You film, cut and edit material for reels, stories and video posts, as well as for other short video productions.

• Strategy: As an integral part of the social media team, you constantly develop our strategy together with the team.

• Collaboration: You will work closely with the rest of the social media and public relations team and will be in regular consultation with the head of public relations.

What's needed

• TikTok & Reel Experience: You have already gained some experience in the field of social media and are an absolute TikTok expert.

• Creativity: You enjoy working creatively and creating content independently. Ideally, you also like to stand in front of the camera yourself.

• Skills: You already have experience in video editing and video production.

• Hands-on mentality: You have your own ideas, take responsibility and work proactively.

• Good self-organization: you work in a solution-oriented way and communicate your needs.

• Learning orientation: you love to bravely tackle new challenges.

• Vision: you can identify with our founding values and are fully behind our vision.

Time required

Flexible to coordinate with the team.

This project is location independent.

The dare2care initiative is the first point of contact for psychological youth education in Germany: Our vision is a society in which every person is valued and supported in his or her uniqueness without stigmatisation, and
we empower young people to develop an empathic and self-determined personality. We support them in their sense of social responsibility and help them to deal with mental challenges.

Therefore dare2care offers psychological workshops for young people. Volunteer psychology students teach school classes the basics of mental health and social responsibility. Our content is scientifically based and adapted to young people. As "experts at eye level", we create a protected space in which people can talk freely about personal thoughts and encourage each other.
