About the volunteering opportunity
The Kinderschutzbund Bonn is looking for volunteer mentors for families in Bonn.
Your Tasks
The mentors accompany individual families for a limited period of time in their home environment.
This involves very practical support in everyday life, such as accompaniment to doctor's appointments and visits to the authorities, care of the child or also the provision of practical everyday tips. The mentors are available for conversations with the family and thus make an essential contribution to supporting the families in building a network and asking for help.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Besides some time, the most important requirements are reliability, openness, trust and empathy.
