About the volunteering opportunity
Currently, 8 children between the ages of 4 and 12 live in our stationary living group "Spatzen". Some children of this group need support with tutoring as well as with learning times.
Your Tasks
- Apply/support/teach learning techniques (write study notes, create index cards)
- Check homework
- Learn for class tests and exams
- Quiz on learning material
- Process/check school practice tasks together
- Answer questions
- Read together (e.g. reading tasks)
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Minimum qualification: Realschule or Gymnasium
- Good rapport with children and young people
- Patience
- Fun in dealing with children and young people
- Fun in explaining and conveying learning material
- An extended certificate of good conduct is required for this engagement. We are happy to help with the application.

The Kindersolbad is a child and youth welfare facility in Bad Friedrichshall with offers ranging from inpatient assistance to outpatient and partial inpatient assistance. In our residential groups, we care for up to 68 children and young people between the ages of 4 and 21 years.
