About the volunteering opportunity
As a digital helper, you can support senior citizens from the Harlaching district with questions about cell phones, laptops, tablets, etc. Contribute to equal opportunities and help older people to become digitally fit
Your Tasks
Pass on your knowledge of digital topics to senior citizens from the district and help with questions about the use of smartphones, laptops, etc., as well as help with digital communication (e.g., emails, video telephony, etc.).
You can meet the senior citizens at the facility (ASZ Harlaching) by appointment through the full-time staff or, after consultation, at the home of the elderly person. Would you prefer to work in pairs? - No problem. The offer is also possible in tandem.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- You are tech savvy and comfortable with common operating systems and related technology or software for laptop, tablet or smartphone
- You enjoy interacting with seniors and have patience
- You are reliable
- Age: (at least) 18 years
- Gender: without restriction

In the Senior Citizens and Service Center (ASZ) Harlaching, senior citizens and their relatives in the district receive information, advice and assistance on all issues relating to old age. In addition, we offer a lunch table for seniors as well as a varied, changing program of courses and events. We are committed to the interests of older people in the district and offer opportunities for volunteer work.
