About the volunteering opportunity

This year UNICEF will again have a greeting card stand at the Bazaar Berlin.

The greeting cards are sold solely by volunteers. This year, UNICEF needs your commitment more than ever: severe environmental disasters and wars threaten children worldwide. The food situation for children is still devastating in many African countries and in Europe the war in Ukraine continues to put many girls and boys in great danger.

The proceeds from the sale of the greeting cards are an important source of income for Unicef's work on aid projects for children.

We appreciate any help!

Your Tasks

  • You take over one or more shifts at the Christmas market
  • At the booth, you advise customers and sell UNICEF greeting cards and calendars
  • Your enthusiasm for the good cause convinces interested parties and customers
  • You get to know many like-minded people in your city and make contacts to further expand a successful network for UNICEF
If you are interested in a longer-term commitment, UNICEF supports you with advice as well as a diverse training program, which deepens your experience and strengthens your skills.

UNICEF Arbeitsgruppe Berlin

UNICEF is the United Nations (UN) Children's Fund. Every child in the world has the right to a childhood - as a UNICEF group Berlin we help voluntarily that this right becomes reality. We inform about the situation of disadvantaged children worldwide and seek dialogue with the public - through talks, information stands, school visits or exhibitions. We sell the popular UNICEF greeting cards and collect donations with creative campaigns - an important contribution, because UNICEF is financed exclusively by voluntary contributions.
