About the volunteering opportunity
Every day, Jumpers- Jugend mit Perspektive Salzgitter supports around 25-30 children with their homework who are struggling with school challenges due to flight, migration or child poverty. With us, the children find a quiet place to learn and an appreciative staff member who takes time for their individual questions and school problems.
Your Tasks
You can individually help a child of elementary school age with homework. Help them with reading, writing and arithmetic.
What's needed
You can help children achieve a sense of achievement if you can motivate them patiently and appreciatively.
Time required
Jumpers offers daily homework help between 1:30-5:00pm. Even one hour a week helps!

At Jumpers Salzgitter, we are committed to helping young people who have to fight hard to find their place in life: Children who grow up in a socially tense environment, who have experienced flight or who live in child poverty. Our daily open house with a wide range of offers (free lunch, workshops, homework help, etc.) enables 50-60 children from 20 cultures to flourish every day, discover their worth and develop their precious potential.
