About the volunteering opportunity
"The Hello Project" is a social initiative with the goal of bringing immigrants and seniors together to promote intercultural and intergenerational exchange and overcome loneliness in both groups.
We are looking for volunteers to join us as Activities Ambassadors for Das Hallo Projekt.
Your Tasks
- Organize group activities for seniors and immigrants: games, walks, cultural evenings, discussion group, among others
- Operate on site: prepare and clean up the rooms, hand out drinks and materials, welcome participants, check the registration list, explain and conduct the activity/event, animate/encourage participants
- Give feedback about activities to the management to improve the project
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
- At least level B1.1 in German
- Location: Munich and surrounding area
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 14 hours per month.
On weekdays, on weekends, at night
Time commitment: approximately 14 hours per month during weekday evenings and/or weekends.
