About the volunteering opportunity
The LOOP Children's Rights Mobile is an innovative project by LOOP Children's Aid that educates children about their rights in a playful way. Equipped with educational material and supervised by experienced specialists, the mobile tours Düsseldorf and regularly visits playgrounds such as Fürstenplatz, Sonnenpark and Lessingplatz. The aim is to raise awareness of children's rights.
Your Tasks
A pedagogical specialist leads games, provides information about children's rights and is available to parents as a contact person. The LOOP Mobil itself is a small electric van that has enough space for the required play materials. We are looking for motivated helpers who would like to join our team and get in touch with the children, listen and play along.
It is possible to obtain a certificate of employment for any practical experience.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
We are looking for friendly, open-minded people with experience in working with children who would like to stand up for children's rights. An extended certificate of good conduct is required to ensure the safety of the children.
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 3 hours per week.
On weekdays, during the day
We are on the road twice a week from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. with our LOOP Children's Rights Mobile at playgrounds in Düsseldorf Friedrichstadt and Oberbilk.
Operating period: Tuesdays and/or Thursdays until October.
Important notice
From experience, we know that children really look forward to the "Spielmobiles". That's why reliability is very important to us.

We realize children's right to a safe home, equal opportunities and a self-determined life. In the LOOP children's homes, children who can no longer live with their own families find a new safe home. We enable young people with difficult life circumstances, a successful integration into our society and support families with educational difficulties. Children belong to a childhood worth living!
