About the volunteering opportunity

Exploring the world of fantasy together with children - this is possible with a beautiful book! After all, reading is and remains an important factor in promoting language and development and should be encouraged from an early age. AWO Frankfurt has been placing volunteer readers in children's facilities for many years.

In the introductory seminar "Reading aloud to children - a journey into the world of fantasy", we provide you with standards for volunteering, specialist and practical knowledge and sample literature.

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Enjoy books and working with children.

The AWO|FFM Volunteer Agency is located in the heart of the city and has been working with a team of 11 people since 2008 with over 500 social work institutions and arranges meaningful volunteer work in cooperation with many actors in the city. You will be informed in detail before your assignment, if necessary trained, insured and always have contact persons on site who will support you.
