Make your neighborhood greener and more colorful by spreading Seedbombs or wildflower seeds - these are especially useful in meadows, fallow tree slices, or your backyard. Any place with a patch of dirt can become a flower bed with Seedbombs!

What are 5-Minute Commitments?

With our 5-Minute Commitments, we want to inspire you to easily integrate volunteering into your everyday life. They are independent of non-profit organizations and allow you to individually get involved for people and nature in your neighborhood.

Your Tasks

You only need to put the Seedbombs in the ground and water them if necessary during dry periods.

The seed balls consist of soil, clay and seeds. The clay protects the seeds from birds and as soon as it rains, the plants grow all by themselves.

At NABU you can also find instructions on how to make seedbombs yourself.

What's needed

Seedbombs are needed for this engagement. You can either buy these at the hardware store or on the Internet, or you can make them yourself.

Time required

For this commitment, all you need is a little time for a springtime walk to a suitable location.

This project is location independent.

We are a social enterprise from Berlin with a big dream: We want a world in which everyone contributes to a better and more sustainable future according to their possibilities and regardless of time budget, language or previous knowledge. For this purpose, we gather on vostel.de numerous engagement offers from non-profit organizations that are looking for volunteers. By doing this, we show concrete possibilities for action in order to become socially active and would like to motivate above all the younger generations to get involved for a better world.
