You want to support fair trade and contribute to a fairer world? Then come to us in the world store!

In the middle of the Mannheimer Quadraten we would like to show with our special selection of Fair Trade products that a world trade without exploitation of people and the environment is not only something for politics, but can also bring joy.

Your Tasks

Sales and customer service (store service):
In the store service you advise our customers on the purchase of our fair trade goods and sell them. Tasks such as restocking, counting daily takings and serving coffee are also part of the job. Expert knowledge is not required, you will be trained in detail. Shifts are approximately two hours long and very flexible.

Public Relations:
Are you creative and know your way around social media? Do you enjoy planning and executing events? Then you can help us add content to our Facebook and Instagram accounts. We also need support on action days like World Shop Day on which we organize events like a clothing swap party or a window display.

Maintenance:
You see where things are stuck or wobbly and carry out minor repairs yourself? You have ideas on how to keep the store in good shape even with a small budget? Then you would be a great help to us!

What's needed

Time required

You can take over flexible shifts in the store service, which last about 2 hours. Or you can support us outside our opening hours, e.g. in public relations.
