Helping people in need at our clothing distribution points - the Hanseatic Help Stores

In our 3 Hanseatic Help Stores, people in acute need can provide themselves with clothing and hygiene donations independently and in a dignified and loving atmosphere. We need support at all three locations to ensure that the shelves are always well stocked and sorted and that people feel valued.

Your Tasks

Anything that comes up in a clothing distribution center:

• Sorting clothes by size and category, cleaning up and restocking
• Unpacking and sorting orders
• Advising customers
• generally keeping the store in order

What's needed

On site, you will meet people with various living situations. Above all, our customers are people seeking protection from international crisis regions. You should have a certain degree of empathy and intercultural competence, as well as an understanding and loving approach to your fellow human beings. You should also have a certain resilience, as you may meet people who have experienced a lot of suffering.

Time required

You can book yourself times to volunteer via our booking tool.

Possible times are Tuesday through Saturday at our three locations with starting times at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm.
