About the volunteering opportunity

The nursing home "Dr. Günter Hesse" offers a home in Pankow to 80 residents with care degrees I to V. For our nursing home in Pankow we are looking for volunteers who sing and make music together with the residents. Usually 20 - 25 residents participate in these choir meetings.

Music is considered to have a positive effect on people with dementia.

Singing is helpful with dementia in many ways.
