About the volunteering opportunity
Daily, people come to the Tafel in Wittingen to pick up rescued food. So that we can offer food to all the people who come to us, it has to be sorted and prepared for the food distribution. Then it's off to hand out the food.
Your Tasks
Together with many other volunteers you are responsible for sorting donated food. Afterwards, the food is prepared for distribution. Your support is also needed when handing out the food.
What's needed
You should have a basic physical fitness and interest in dealing with food. We are looking forward to sociable and friendly volunteers who can work independently. Of course, we will explain your task on site again and have an always have an open ear for questions.
Time required
The sorting and distribution takes place between 8 and 12 clock.
