About the volunteering opportunity
The modern shared flat in the Boxhagener Kiez for people with dementia is a home for up to eight residents. We are now looking for helpers to visit the residents regularly.
Your Tasks
You will support the work of the team at the WG im Boxhagener Kiez.
Your task is to pick up a resident of the shared flat and accompany them on a walk; you create a good atmosphere in which the resident feels good and relaxed and go for a walk in the neighborhood at the resident's pace. You talk a little, get to know each other and can also take a break on a park bench. Then you take the resident back to the shared flat.
