Wallesau ist Blau

The Wallesau ist Blau Open Air Festival will take place on the last weekend in August in Wallesau, district Roth south of Nuremberg. We are looking for helping hands to support us on the weekend and around it.

The following job categories are available:

Reception, security, bar, beer, pizza, merch, grill, stagehand, security, electrician, and whatever else you need at a festival. The week before the festival, you can help with setup, or afterward with takedown. We’re also looking for people who want to support the organizing team year-round and get involved in areas such as social media, volunteer scheduling, site planning, and more.

You'll be assigned based on your skills or after you've been trained. You can work in areas where you already have experience or try something that's completely new to you. Our knowledgeable team leaders will show you everything you need to know.

As a festival volunteer at the Wallesau Blau Open Air, there are a wide variety of roles available to you. We’re looking for you to help out at the bar, at the grill, with merchandise sales, backstage, or as a security volunteer. You’re also welcome to help with setup and takedown. We can be flexible about your schedule. Just let us know what you can do and what you’d like to do.

Our festival focuses on rock, metal, punk, and ska. If you’re not into any of that at all, it might be a bit of a challenge. But we’ve managed to win over quite a few metalheads ;) Our festival takes place in a field in a village. You can get there by public shared taxi. So far, no one in a wheelchair has gotten stuck—we all help each other out.
