About the volunteering opportunity
The faucet is dripping, the door is squeaking, the shelf needs to be put on the wall - the Nachbarbude, a joint project of SKM Dortmund e. V. and Wirtschaftsförderung Dortmund, is looking for (hobby) craftsmen/craftswomen, do-it-yourself enthusiasts, carpenters and electricians with a heart who want to get involved in neighborhood assistance.
Your Tasks
Citizens in the neighborhood receive unbureaucratic and free help with small household repairs and concerns, e.g. with
- the repair of jammed / loose cupboard doors or drawers
- assembling a small piece of furniture
- the mounting of a wall shelf
But also leisure accompaniment or taking over small errands (e.g. shopping) are conceivable.
What's needed
We are a friendly and growing community that is happy to welcome new faces and more helping hands. Everyone can join in - regardless of where you live, your age or religious affiliation - the important thing is the social idea and the joy of commitment ❤ .
Time required
It would be nice if you commit yourself to the NachbarBude at least 2 times a month. The time frame will be coordinated individually.
Important notice
The presentation of an extended certificate of good conduct is required. This can be applied for free of charge.
