About the volunteering opportunity
As of July, the future of the project is unclear. Nevertheless, we invite you to simply drop by, get to know people, take part in activities and lend a hand on site.
The tap is dripping, the door is squeaking, the shelf needs to be put on the wall - the Nachbarbude, a project of SKM Dortmund, is looking for (hobby) craftspeople, do-it-yourself enthusiasts, carpenters and electricians with heart and soul who would like to get involved in neighborhood help.

Your Tasks
Residents in the neighborhood receive unbureaucratic and free help with small household repairs and issues from our volunteer "Budenfreund*innen", e.g. with
- repairing jammed / loose cupboard doors or drawers
- the assembly of a small piece of furniture
- installing a wall shelf
It is also possible to provide leisure time companionship or take on small errands (e.g. shopping).
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
We are a friendly and growing community that is happy to welcome new faces and more helping hands. Everyone can join in - regardless of where you live, your age or religious affiliation - the important thing is the social idea and the joy of volunteering ❤.

It would be nice if you commit yourself to the NachbarBude at least 2 times a month. The time frame will be coordinated individually.
Important notice
The presentation of an extended certificate of good conduct is required. This can be applied for free of charge.
