About the volunteering opportunity
Is there anything better than immersing yourself in foreign worlds while reading a book and forgetting about reality?
Reading is fun, stimulates the imagination and expands vocabulary. However, many children lack access or receive no encouragement at home. As a reading coach, you make an important contribution here. You accompany a pupil and provide gentle guidance. Coaching usually takes place once a week at schools by arrangement.
To ensure that you are well prepared for your new volunteer role, the seminar will provide you with specialist and practical knowledge as well as the standard of volunteering. You will also receive valuable tips for the living and learning situation of the children and young people.

The AWO|FFM Volunteer Agency is located in the heart of the city and has been working with a team of 11 people since 2008 with over 500 social work institutions and arranges meaningful volunteer work in cooperation with many actors in the city. You will be informed in detail before your assignment, if necessary trained, insured and always have contact persons on site who will support you.
