About the volunteering opportunity
The "Back on Track e.V." association facilitates decentralized education and can thus reach migrated children and young people who would like to receive extracurricular support to make up for major educational deficits. It is important that the children and young people can also be taught the subject matter in their native language.
Your Tasks
The mentors therefore play the central role in "Back on Track" - after the children and young people. An initial discussion with the child/young person and their family provides information about their educational situation. Under the guidance of the mentor, the child decides what they want to learn and at what pace.
We mainly work with Arabic, Kurdish, Farsi or Dari as mother tongues, but are also happy to work with German, Ukrainian, Russian or other languagesĀ as a mother tongue.
If you would like to spend some time each week to give children and young people a chance of an education and would also like to expand your knowledge in a friendly team: Join us! We look forward to meeting you!

Where?
Back on Track e.V.
"Back on Track" provides children and adolescents not having been able to go to school for several years due to war and escape a perfect education offer. By guided self-learning methods, they can catch up with the educational level of their age group. The offer targets children with Arabic as mother tongue. With extra offers besides school we help them to close up easier with their age group and to master the transition from welcome to regular class.
