About the volunteering opportunity

With existing equipment, table tennis table (1 fixed and 1 mobile), with basketball, hoops, mini trampoline, softballs and Minitor, offer light sports for children up to 4-12 years as desired

Your Tasks

Instruction, animation, realize movement games according to the situation

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.

Fitness, clear communication and overview.
Extended certificate of good conduct, paid for by the CJD on presentation of proof. We will help you with the application.

Time required

Project-based
On weekdays, during the day

The sports course should take place on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. You can choose the day.

Ideally, the course should take place in the afternoon, approximately between 2 and 4 pm.

It is important to us that you have at least 4 weeks in a row to offer the course. If you have more time and would like to offer a course over several months, we would also be very happy to do so! Let's discuss your availability in person when we meet.

Important notice

Our social team accompanies the lesson. Supervision by the management office is provided. Security and nurse nearby.
Certificate of commitment is possible.

After you contact us, we will discuss the scope of your commitment during a meeting.

Where?

Aufnahmeeinrichtung für Flüchtlinge Heckeshorn Wannsee - cjd Berlin-Brandenburg

The cjd currently runs two accomodations/first arrival facilities for refugees in Berlin. At the Wannsee location, around 120 people are cared for, including numerous particularly vulnerable or physically/mentally handicapped persons. An active network of volunteers supports the team of the cjd.
