About the volunteering opportunity

The Schlange Seniors' Meeting Center is dedicated to promoting the well-being and social interaction of older people. We offer a variety of activities and programs to help our members live full and active lives as they age.

We are looking for a dedicated Qigong teacher who is willing to volunteer with us and teach Qigong to our visitors.

Your Tasks

  • Planning and conducting QiGong courses specifically for senior citizens
  • Guiding participants through gentle and adapted QiGong exercises to promote relaxation, flexibility and energy flow
  • Creating a supportive and friendly learning environment for older participants

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
  • Passion and commitment to promoting the wellbeing of older people
  • Ability to work effectively with seniors of varying levels of physical fitness and mobility
  • Patience, empathy and good communication skills

Time required

Regularly
Approx. 1 hour per week.
The course should take place once a week for one hour on a fixed day.
