About the volunteering opportunity
The language café is a place to meet other people, get to know each other and exchange ideas. We bring people together who want to practice their German and talk about various topics in a cozy café atmosphere.
Your Tasks
The language café can also provide partnerships, support with homework for the German course or individual language support. However, the primary aim is to practise German in a fun and playful way.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You've come to the right place if you:
- Are open, friendly and empathetic towards people
- German is your first language or you have very good German language skills
- Enjoy intercultural encounters
- You enjoy leading games or playful exercises
You don't have to have teaching experience or have studied German as a foreign language, but simply be curious about new people and their stories. People who do not have German as their mother tongue are also welcome, but they should already be able to communicate very well.

Time required: approx. 2-3 hours, the schedule will be discussed individually.
