About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for a volunteer companion for Ms. S., an 80-year-old resident of our shared living community “WG Spittelmarkt,” to provide one-on-one care and accompany her on short walks. Due to her health limitations, Ms. S. has difficulty communicating. Therefore, volunteers with limited German language skills are also welcome to help. She enjoys spending time outdoors and going for walks, whether in a nursing wheelchair for longer distances or on foot around her apartment.
Your Tasks
- Regular visits to Mrs. St. for walks outside and in the apartment
- Simple communication and instructions in German (A2 level)
- Consideration of Mrs. St.'s needs and preferences despite her health restrictions
