About the volunteering opportunity
A playroom in a refugee accommodation centre needs helping hands to play with children. If you enjoy spending time with children and can imagine spending a few hours a week facilitating activities for them, this would make the children very happy.
Your Tasks
- Helping caretakers with childcare
- Playing with the children
- Painting and sculpting with the children
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
- Experience in working with children
- Knowledge of Russian would be an advantage, but is not essential
- You need an extended certificate of good conduct to work in the refugee accommodation centre. Need4Deed will help you with the application free of charge
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 2 hours per week.
On weekdays, during the day
You can support the playroom Monday to Friday from 12:30 pm to 04:30 pm. The schedule is flexible. Please let us know which district you live in and we will try to find something near you :)
