About the volunteering opportunity
Would you like to support students in their transition to a career?
As a volunteer mentor, you will support students individually and build relationships with potential young professionals at an early stage.
As a volunteer mentor, you will support students individually and build relationships with potential young professionals at an early stage.
We would like to invite you to become part of the innovative Career Mentoring Program (CaMen) project. It is run by the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with four other universities in the Rhine-Main region (you can find more information about our network here www.ics-rm.de).
The aim of the Career Mentoring Program is to support students with an international family history in starting their careers.
In one-on-one mentoring, you can take on a leading role and guide students towards a successful career start.
WIN-WIN
- You have the opportunity to expand your personal and professional network
- You broaden your skills and horizons
- You make an important contribution to the professional development of young people
- You gain an insight into the expectations and challenges of young students
The duration is 3 months, during which time you will meet with your mentee at least twice a month - digitally or in person. We will prepare you for your volunteer work. You also have the opportunity to take part in our support program.
Are you considering whether the company where you are employed would be suitable for cooperation with the mentoring program? Then please let us know! We will be happy to discuss various options with you personally.
The next mentoring program starts in October 2026.
We are currently not accepting any new mentors, but you are welcome to put your name on our waiting list for 2026.
