About the volunteering opportunity
With our project “Speakbuddy”, we use an innovative smart algorithm to bring immigrants and locals together for intercultural tandem and community activities.
Meet each other, make friends, live diversity! As a Speak Buddy you promote language acquisition and intercultural exchange in an international and intergenerational environment. Whether young or old, native or immigrant, you can plunge into in new worlds and experience new perspectives.
As a newcomer, you get the chance to use and consolidate your language skills in various everyday situations. As a local you accompany newly arrived and support their language acquisition through exchange and shared leisure activities.

At Grow Together Germany, we use a smart algorithm to match immigrants and locals for intercultural tandem and community meetings and offer organizations and partners a place to work together to promote social interactions and strengthen a mutual understanding between people with different cultural backgrounds. The goal is to strengthen social integration – for genuine cooperation so that we can create a society, in which everyone feels at home
