About the volunteering opportunity

The inclusive company "Komm&Sieh" runs four second-hand neighbourhood stores, the TEXTILHAFEN with material pool, the upcycling label WaterToWine, the Re-Use Centre in the House of Materialization, the logistics kitchen and helps with professional apartment clearances.

Your Tasks

You will accept donations of clothing and household goods. You will also advise customers and look after the goods on the sales floor. On some days, you may also work at the checkout.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
This voluntary position is perfect if: You enjoy working in a team and are a good communicator. You are a friendly face in the store and enjoy interacting with customers.

Requirements: It is important that you can communicate well in German. Knowledge of English is an advantage, but not a must. You must be at least 18 years old for this voluntary position.

Expected attitude: You are convinced that every person has an inalienable dignity. You are respectful of the Christian faith as well as other religions and world views.

When: On Saturdays between 10 am and 4 pm

Time required: approx. 4-6 hours on Saturdays, at least 1 Saturday/month, more often if possible. We are looking for a regular commitment.
