About the volunteering opportunity
Would you like to stand up for a fairer world and gain exciting experiences at the same time? Then join the Aktionsbündnis Fairer Handel Berlin (Action Alliance for Fair Trade Berlin) at various events! As an ambassador, you will help us to make fair trade visible and tangible.
Your Tasks
You will take on a variety of tasks at various events:
- Supervising interactive activities such as our wheel of fortune with questions about fair trade
- Exchange with interested parties and pass on information about current offers and materials such as the Fair City Map or the Berlin Choc
- Support with transportation and setting up and/or dismantling the information stand
- possibly supervising a fair coffee or chocolate tasting
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Interest in social and global issues and a willingness to learn more about fair trade
- Openness and empathy in dealing with different people and cultures
- Enjoy sharing knowledge and inspiring others
- Reliability and ability to work independently
- Good knowledge of German (at least B2 level)
