About the volunteering opportunity
The Inclusive Beach Days are an open-air event at Strandbad Plötzensee. The whole neighborhood is invited and 150 participants are expected!

We are looking for people who will put their heart and soul into making a barrier-free beach day possible for EVERYONE. As part of the team, you will ensure that children and people with disabilities can experience an unforgettable day full of balloons, music, sport and fun.
The barrier-free path to the beach bar means that people with wheelchairs, walking frames and baby carriages can also go directly to the beach bar. There you can meet up, chat, dance in the sand and later sit around the campfire.

The Unionhilfswerk is a neighbor and cooperation partner of Strandbad Plötzensee.
Your Tasks
You are responsible for the "entertainment" with the balloons between 3.30 and 7.30 pm (or just 2 hours, just get in touch after the registration and let us know your preferences and possibilities).
Whether dog balloon or sword, children and guests love this festival atmosphere!

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
- You can model one or two shapes with balloons (there are many video tutorials on YouTube. Sword and dog are very easy to learn)
- Empathy and enjoy working with children and people with disabilities.
What to bring
As a supporter, you will receive #freedrinks, #freefood and a T-shirt from us.
It is not necessary for you to bring anything, as food will be provided. However, if you suffer from allergies or intolerances, we recommend that you bring your own food that meets your needs.
