Über das Engagementangebot

The activities to be carried out by the volunteer aim to expand the organisation’s reach and impact through strategic social media engagement. The focus is on building a strong online presence, raising awareness about mental health, and fostering meaningful connections with a diverse audience. 

Deine Aufgaben

We are looking for a volunteer to support our organisation in creating engaging social media content for our channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and others.
 
What you should bring:
  • Interest or basic knowledge of mental health topics.
  • Excellent English skills.
  • Some experience in creating visuals or graphics, ideally using Canva.
  • Basic video editing skills (a plus, but not essential).
  • Experience with WordPress would be beneficial.
 
Additional information:
  • This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Germany. Applicants based in a different country will not be considered.
  • A regular weekly commitment is desirable (you choose how much time you can give).
  • You can volunteer during the week or on weekends, depending on your schedule; occasional communication during regular working hours may be necessary.

European Alliance Against Depression

The European Alliance Against Depression (EAAD, www.eaad.net) is a scientific non-profit organisation that speaks up for patients affected by depression. We conduct research, raise awareness and develop effective, evidence-based initiatives that improve access to care and treatment for depression. 

Our goals are:

1) Support people with depression and their families and

2) Prevent suicidal behaviour

Established in 2004, EAAD currently has more than 30 members in Europe, Australia, Canada, Africa and Chile and is involved in several EU-funded research and implementation projects.
