Helping Hands Academy e.V.

Our target group is the population in the Gambia, whose living environment we sustainably improve by repairing and professionalizing the local infrastructure - from energy supply to building security. We support communities and local institutions in securing their existing resources and raising them to a sustainable level.

Our projects are financed through a combination of private donations, membership fees and earmarked project funding. A significant part of our effectiveness is also based on close cooperation with the GAM Group Ltd. on site, which allows us to use synergies in logistics and ensure that funds flow directly into the repair and professionalization of Gambian infrastructure without major detours.

We are pursuing a clear goal: a future for The Gambia in which no mother has to give birth to her child on a donkey cart. We want to reduce infant mortality, guarantee access to clean drinking water and restore dignity to schoolchildren by providing hygienic sanitary facilities. By professionalizing these vital infrastructures, we are creating real prospects for people to stay locally and actively combating the causes of flight - true to our motto: 'Together for a better future'.
