About the volunteering opportunity

Our aim is to make repairs accessible to everyone - including and especially for people outside the classic eco-bubble. The concept is already going down well in Berlin's Gropiusstadt district: The KREISLER is a repair and loan store - a place that makes sustainability tangible and brings people together who want to be more conscious in their use of resources - regardless of income, age or previous knowledge.

Your Tasks

Volunteers can either take on coordinative and administrative tasks, take over the store for a few hours and accept repairs or, if interested, learn how to repair and fix broken items. There is always something to do!

What's needed

Location

Kreisler e.V.

In the heart of Berlin-Neukölln, in Gropiusstadt, we’ve created a space in a shopping arcade where the idea of the circular economy becomes tangible: broken household items like toasters, radios, clothes, and children's toys don’t end up in the trash—they get a second life. And it goes even further: at KREISLER, everyone can borrow things too—from tools and camping gear to party supplies.
