Refood 4 Good (https://re-food.org/en/home/) mobilizes citizens of goodwill to act within their own neighborhoods. By connecting local resources and universal conditions, Refood empowers communities to create meaningful change — transforming surplus food into essential nutrition for those who need it most.

Fifteen years after its founding, Refood has grown from one volunteer on a bicycle to a network of more than 8,000 volunteers operating in 70 communities.

Together, they now recover surplus food from over 2,500 partners — including restaurants, supermarkets, cafeterias, bakeries, and events — ensuring that more than 8,000 people have reliable access to nutritious meals.

Through these efforts, Refood prevents approximately 15,000 tonnes of bio-waste each year.

Refood Pioneers — those who bring the initiative to new communities — play a vital role in spreading the movement’s impact. Their leadership and dedication enable Refood’s mission to flourish locally and globally.

Refood continues to expand, both nationally and internationally. After our first in-person meeting on the 25/11, we decided to have a follow-up online meeting for the people who couldn't attend the fisrt time. Everyone is invited to participate - as a volunteer, partner, or supporter - and to contribute in whatever way aligns with their goals and values.

Together, we can build stronger, more sustainable communities and create a world where no good food is wasted, and no person goes hungry.
