About the volunteering opportunity

The Harzer Kiezladen of the Johanniter in Neukölln is looking for a committed person with sewing experience who would like to set up and lead a sewing group for young people on a voluntary basis.

We already have two sewing machines on site. Together with the young people, simple sewing projects can be realized, clothes repaired or creatively upcycled. The focus is on encounters, creativity and self-efficacy.

Your Tasks

Planning and implementation of a regular sewing program for young people

Introduction to basic sewing techniques (no professional level required)
