Every month we hold a big cooking event for our community (Sundays). The events create a place for people from different backgrounds to meet, with and without escape experience. Together we cook international dishes and of course we eat together at the end of the evening. Cooking together allows people to get to know each other in a cheerful atmosphere. It doesn't matter how well they speak German: For us, cultural exchange can happen through eating togethe. The cooking evenings are organized and carried out by our volunteer event team. Join us and become part of our family.
Your main task will be to plan the cooking events. In the team you set the dates, think about a topic and discuss the recipes with the chefs from our community. Of course you are also welcome to contribute a recipe. Together you buy the ingredients and prepare the room for the event.
On the day of the event you will be the host. You welcome the guests and make sure that everyone feels at home.
You cook together with all participants and enjoy the delicious food at the end of the evening. :)
For event planning we meet with the team every 4-6 weeks during the week in the evening and discuss all questions and ideas.
You enjoy teamwork and like to organise.
You also like to meet new people and are interested in other cultures.
You like to take on responsibility and work independently.
And of course very important: you like to try out new recipes.
