About the volunteering opportunity
For many elderly people, loneliness and isolation is unfortunately a reality. When relatives have no time or live far away, when friends have already passed away and their own mobility is perhaps restricted, many old people lead an isolated life among us. By arranging visiting partnerships, the association wants to give old people hope and courage to live - and enable younger people to get in touch with the older generation.

Important notice
Our visiting partnerships are based on reliability, openness and mutual respect. It is important that the meetings take place regularly and that there is honest communication if something is not right or something changes.
Our volunteers do not take on any care or household-related tasks - the focus is on spending time together, talking and small activities.
We also attach great importance to ensuring that everyone involved feels comfortable: If you have any questions, uncertainties or challenges, we are always on hand to offer support.
