About the volunteering opportunity
Zero Waste Köln is committed to waste reduction and resource conservation in Cologne. To this end, we regularly organize events such as item and clothing swaps, Zero Waste picnics, cleanups, and workshops.
On October 10th, our big clothing swap festival "Zwirn & Zement" will take place at the Kulturbunker. Across three floors, we will fill the Kulturbunker with a colorful program.

Your Tasks
Working in the big clothes swap room:
- You take the clothes brought in by visitors and check that they are clean and undamaged.
- You help sort and hang up the clothes.
- You are the contact person for the visitors.
Repair Café:
- You know how to use a sewing machine or are good at doing small sewing jobs (mending holes, sewing on buttons) by hand? Then support us in our repair corner. Here you can show visitors how to repair the items of clothing they have brought with them.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.

Start 11:00 (repair corner from 12:00)
End 18:00 (repair corner until 17:00)
Dismantling until 19:30 pm
We have several shifts. You should have at least time to help for 3 hours.
