About the volunteering opportunity
Hello, dear volunteers!
This year marks the 26th edition of the FrauenWelten Film Festival, once again taking place at the KulturBrauerei in Berlin.
From November 18 to November 24, 2026, we’ll be screening a wide range of compelling films exploring the human rights situation of girls and women from diverse countries, followed by discussions with the audience and wonderful guests.
But to make the festival a success, we still need your help distributing flyers and posters in the weeks leading up to the event and with cinema supervision during festival week!

Your Tasks
Before the festival:
For the period leading up to the festival (starting in early november), we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help distribute flyers in Berlin stores.
During the festival
During the week of November 18–24, the goal is to support the cinema supervision with on-site guest coordination at the Kulturbrauerei. This includes: staffing the information booth and answering questions about materials and the program. You’ll also be in charge of managing entry to the cinema.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
For flyer distribution, you should be able to walk for at least two hours. You should also be comfortable approaching people in bars, stores, or cafés to ask if you can leave flyers there.
For cinema supervision, we’re looking for open-minded and outgoing people who are happy to answer questions and offer assistance. You should also be able to work flexibly across different tasks during your shift.
It’s totally fine if you only speak English.
If you have time to help out on more than one day, that would be amazing!
