Every first Wednesday at 6 pm, there is as always an info evening for interested and becoming food savers. These are encouraged once to attend this event of us. This is a prerequisite for participation in our activities and collections. With this event we would like to get to know our "newcomers" in advance and thus create the same conditions for all food savers in Darmstadt. We attach great importance to group cohesion and trust through personal contact.

Your Tasks

If you have ambitions and would like to actively help us fight food waste, you can become involved as a food saver and focus on foodsharing.com register. Your task as a food saver consists of picking up the leftover food from supermarkets at the right time and distributing it - of course you are also allowed to keep food for yourself. On the other hand, you can not only help with your hands but also with your heart and mind in educational activities, because we are a non-profit organisation and we also aim at environmental education. For example, we regularly provide the guests of the Repair Café with food or carry out educational campaigns at other events. We can only encourage sustainable action in everyday life through dialogue with our fellow human beings.
