About the volunteering opportunity
Every month we hold a big cooking event for our community (Sundays). The events create a place for people from different backgrounds to meet, with and without escape experience. Together we cook international dishes and of course we eat together at the end of the evening. Cooking together allows people to get to know each other in a cheerful atmosphere. It doesn't matter how well they speak German: For us, cultural exchange can happen through eating togethe. The cooking evenings are organized and carried out by our volunteer event team. Join us and become part of our family.
Your Tasks
One of your main tasks is childcare.
On the day of the event, you will mainly look after the children who cannot actively help with cooking. We have some materials on site for this purpose.
For event planning we meet with the team approx. every 4-6 weeks during the week in the evening and discuss all questions and ideas.
