Talent Mentoring Programs for Children in Neukölln

Through this project, we aim to specifically nurture the interests and talents of children ages 10 and up from our Neukölln Talent Project. In our Neukölln Talent mentoring program, some children demonstrate special interests and talents for which their mentors can often provide only introductory guidance. We want to enable these children to pursue their talents and interests in depth. For the Talente² project, we’re looking for mentors who have practical experience and expertise in the children’s specific areas of interest, so they can provide targeted support and offer the children special insights into potential career paths and everyday practices within those fields.

We are looking for a mentor from the medical field for a 12-year-old girl from Neukölln. As a mentor, you’ll introduce the child to the world of medicine. It would be great if you could meet once a month. However, you can also arrange your meetings according to the individual needs of your mentoring relationship.

As a Talent² mentor, you’ll give children with special interests insight into your field of expertise. It would be ideal if your career or qualifications were related to that field. Direct professional experience in the field is not required. Share your enthusiasm and help children in Neukölln develop a passion for specific topics and explore career paths!
