About the volunteering opportunity
Many of the apartments, have no fitted kitchen, are unpainted and unrenovated. Our project participants have often lived in sheltered accommodation for a long time, usually they have little experience with renovations and hardly any social network which can support the move.
Your Tasks
For our project we are looking for helping hands for moving in and out.
e.g.
- Painting
- Wallpapering
- Assembling kitchen/furniture
- Transportation of furniture
- Removal assistance
- flexible other support for removals

Time required
We are looking for flexible support with moving in/out and renovation work (e.g. painting/wallpapering) in various apartments in the Stuttgart area. You can get involved with us on a one-off or regular basis.
Important notice
We endeavor to provide the materials that are needed in advance, but are also happy about any donation such as paint and accessories (brushes, rollers, tarpaulin, etc.). Purchases may still be necessary; we or the tenant will then provide the money for this. In case of a move, we lend a transporter and are happy to help with loading and unloading.Where?

Housing First brings homeless people from Stuttgart back into fixed tenancies.
We are looking for apartments for homeless people from Stuttgart. In doing so, we start from the principle that housing is a human right that you do not have to earn. Our professional team supports the tenants with all questions around the move-in & with all matters that arise in the current tenancy. We offer landlords a contact person for all rental matters, a rent default guarantee & if necessary, rapid intervention, so that the housing is maintained in the long term.
For our project, we are looking for helping hands with move-ins such as help with painting or wallpapering, help with moving and furnishing the apartment.
